Job Confirmed

June 13th, 2009

Greetings to all my readers if you are still around. This is just a short update, to let everyone know that I’ve returned from my 17 days stint in Europe with my family.

Just a recap for everyone, the Europe trip involves London, Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt, St. Moritz, Berlin, Dublin, and Belfast. So with these locations in mind I’ll try and blog about each locations and incidents that happened in a hopefully chronological way.

There will be pictures which I’m still having trouble filtering which is to be published on Facebook. A sneak preview for those who know me on MSN will know that Switzerland has the best scenery among the places I’ve been.

More on the Europe trip as I would like to make an announcement:
*ahem*

Immediately on Monday after I returned from my Europe trip, I called up Topglove to settle the offer letter issue. My presence is immediately required so I got into my formal attire and drove there after lunch.

The first conversation I had with the HR admin, Ms. Tan:
Ms. Tan: Wah why wear until so formal??
Me: Shuang mah… the weather not hot enough for me =D

She giggled @@”

Then I spent the next 15 minutes pretending to read through all the terms and conditions laid out, and signed my name at the required spots.

Thus henceforth, I’m now… a Topglove Employee! As a Process Engineer! My work shall begin on

Monday 15th June! @@”

no more holiday in the future *sob*

Right. Just a quick update. Don’t be surprised that I updated my blog after so long. Yeah.. Old habit just can’t be rid of. So yeah… you catch my drift.. I’m here again as i told you, just for a quickie!

Some of you may know (or maybe not) that I’ve spent some quality time in Redang Island with my uni frens, namely Ang, Ang, Ong, Mark, TaiSoon, Adelynn, YiJun and 2 girls who are the 2 Ang’s gals respectively.

So for more pictures you guys can always browse my facebook… click here and there and you get to my pal’s photo album, which would clearly show everyone’s beaming face at the sands (surprisingly no one got darken during the 3 days 2 nights trip, sunblock lotion proved its effectiveness I suppose)

Then, I got an interview in Topglove (11th May), nerve wrecking experience to be honest. Some unexpected questions that literally took me almost a minute to figure out the ‘proper’ answer to reply the interviewer. I’m not too sure whether my answer is deemed proper, but I think it rather worked quite well.

Please wait for 1-2 weeks time for us to consider your application, thank you. Have a safe journey home!

Fast forward to today.. 6.15pm Wednesday evening, blazingly hot, yet I was on my way out for pasar malam and a round of basketball with the lcoals when the HR called. The familiar voice said that I have been selected to join their crew and the documents and offer letters are being prepared.

Ecstatic! LITERALLY!!!!

After explaining my current situation that I won’t be around until I’m back from Europe Trip, I will definitely sign that bloody offer letter!! Hopefully everything turns well as expected. My very first interview, and I’m rewarded with my very first JOB!

Oh-Am-Geeeeee~~~~~~

I just can’t believe myself either, can you?

Now I’m still wide awake, thinking not just the job I’ve just received. Also, I’m heading towards europe to bug my grumpy sister in Dublin! Tis would be a blast holiday, am visiting London, Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt, St Moritz, Berlin and of cos Dublin!! That’s actually England, Switzerland, Germany and Ireland! 4 countries! syok!

Will have lots of pictures I assure you guys! the Zermatt - St Moritz route would be through the glacial expressway. I’m glad to be able to view the world’s best panaromic rides! So yeah, will spam photos on facebook!

Still can’t sleep! I’m just too excited. Expect my return on the first week of June!!

There is a walk-in interview by Sony at Boulevard Hotel, Midvalley tomorrow (or later in my current case on 25/4/09 ) from 9am till 5pm.

Bad news for me is that I’m not fully prepared to attend any interviews for now due to my slackness, despite the fact that it’s a tough world out there to get a job and further worsened by the current economic state.

Fortunately, the good news is that if one cannot attend the walk-in interview, he/she can write in instead!

Since good news are meant to be shared, you can refer to this website for more website by clicking here

For now, I shall let my slackness rule these few days. I’m dreaming of sun, sand, sea, and hopefully hot babes roaming the island! Pulau Redang, here we come!!

Over! What now?

April 22nd, 2009

First and foremost, I’m finally back to the world of blogging!!

It has been quite a wild 4 months, since the last one I’ve mentioned about changes and resolution etc etc…
Now it turns out to be a bullshit after all. Despite the efforts of putting in some fillers along the way, I don’t think they have done enough justice for you readers eh? Assuming, that readers are still here carrying banners to show some affection to my blog.

yeah…

For readers who know me well or through MSN or facebook, I guess that you guys have already noticed my overwhelming joy, uncontrollably spilled to annoy some friends out there who does not share the same euphoric emotions I’m going through now. Yes my fellow readers, I have finally graduated from my Degree Years, 5 fucking long years of untold torture I’ve endured. None can be compared to the very last month of the Degree Program I’ve encountered, and I’m sure that some of you would agree with me how it feels, going through those very slowly dreading days, guilt setting in as we wish to distract ourselves from the inevitable work load lying right in front of us.

As one of the earliest survivors of all fellow members, I’ve finally emerged, triumph and most important of all, I’ve survived~!! not even a wrinkle on my forehead throughout these gruesome 5 years =p

I shall let my MSN video to do justice to my claims here.

Now free from the university’s evil clutches, I now roam free in my crib. The humble establishments in Klang, one of the finest in my opinion, cozy enough for me to roll around without stepping out of the house…

Until some bloody dirt heat wave starts cranking up and radiates the very land wherever I’m stepping on!

Ok, the most important question in life now looms : What now??

Simply put, what are you gonna do in life now? Start finding job? Enjoy the very last of your holidays before your job begins? Presuming that you have already confirmed your job. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Starting a family already? Still single? Still working at the same company? Or already job hopping for that 5 years? Or, still the same as 5 years before?

It’s time, that we shoulder some burdens in life. It’s time to contribute something back to the community. We are no longer that ignorant teenagers who would only think of nothing but themselves. It’s time to grow up, life works that way, it’s unfortunate, but inevitable. It’s life. After all, it’s prime time to see things differently. We are the ones who would change things now.

We are the future.
